PixaClear LED replaced an existing monument-sign display at Van Dyke Commons with a commercial outdoor LED message center and a 4G hotspot for remote content access.

The project

Replacing an existing display with a reliable, changeable message surface.

Van Dyke Commons had an older display within its existing monument sign. PixaClear LED replaced it with a commercial outdoor LED message center that gives the property a practical way to share tenant, promotion, and opening information from a prominent Sterling Heights location.

The project retained the established monument-sign format while updating the part that needs to change most often: the message. That gives the plaza a current communication tool without rebuilding the entire sign.

Clear content and reliable connectivity

P4 mm detail for readable messages, plus a connection for remote updates.

This display uses a P4 mm pixel pitch to provide crisp text and image detail for the sign’s viewing distance. For a plaza monument sign, that level of detail helps tenant announcements, promotions, and availability messages remain clear while still giving the property a strong, bright display surface.

The monument sign did not have a usable hardwired internet connection available for the display. PixaClear LED added a 4G hotspot so authorized users can access the LED display remotely and update content without traveling to the sign. For plaza signs and other locations where internet is not available at the display, a 4G connection can be a practical option when cellular coverage and the intended content workflow are a good fit.
